They say I had a twin.
And she's the girl I refuse to be.

perfectly encapsulates specific Gender Feelings through clever phrases and evocative imagery. thank you for making this. i've a feeling i'll make use of some of this vocabulary in my own journey
Thank you for the kind words and for reading!!
It means the world to me that it resonated with you and that you're taking a part of it with you!
Oh, fantastic! The imagery is really well-written
Thinking of that as a twin/sibling seems like it's a Thing; I've been writing poetry to vent gender feels while I'm stuck quarantined w Schrodinger's Parental Acceptance and one of mine shook out to the same kind of metaphor (although my relationship with my "her" is different).
Thank you for reading, the kind words, and sharing!
That's such good insight and I'm glad you can kind of relate, I have a brother so it was interesting to step back and think about how different 'versions' of myself interact with gender.
Is it that short or am I missing how can I progress further?
The last(?) screen kinda looks like and ending but it came so soon that I would welcome a "The end" phrase to be sure.
Also, turning pages is technically an interaction, yet we don't call every book an "interactive fiction".
I think the story is very solid but listing it as a game feels like a bait and switch. I do read a lot but this time I wanted to play a game.
It is that short! Thank you for playing and for the feedback, I changed the category from game to story and added more indicators of what you'll be interacting with in the caption and a definite THE END phrase.
